In 2012, Ron Savell had a vision of a restaurant nestled on the corner of 4th Street and 40th Avenue in Hattiesburg, MS. Although he was undecided about the concept and the type of food he would offer, Savell was excited about the possibilities that Patio 44 would bring to Hattiesburg.
In January 2013, at the grand opening of Savell's new establishment, Brewksy's with the iconic Willie Nelson performing that evening, Ron ran into old friends and former co-workers from 20 years earlier, Josh and Crystal Rogers. With a background in restaurant management and menu development, Ron and Josh quickly had a concept and direction for Patio 44.
This chance meeting was the beginning of what would later become an extensive chef-driven menu with a wine and bourbon selection like no other with three Patio 44 locations in South Mississippi. USA
